Comebacks are good, but not when they feel like the game is artificially creating them. Comebacks should be done by the players not the game.

And they are.
TA is only exception from that rule, but it will be butchered by nerfs soon enough.
Now, lets not make any more offtopic here.

No the upkeep is way to punishing imo for the player that has the advantage. Your manpower income is so crippled you can only afford to reinforce while the player thats in "trouble" can trade units with you while reinforcing them and buying new ones and in time catch up to you. Also it always seems no matter how fuel denied you are you always have enough for your heavy tank callin and there you have your "skilled" comeback.

Add to that some bs strafing runs that totally annihilates your army even if you instantly retreat and it can create some bullshit scenarios.

Timezones are a problem with tournaments- most are geared around european timezones, which means they only start between 2am to 3am where I live. By the time a best of 3 is finished it could easily be 5+am, which means it wouldn't be possible to work the next day.

-Because you have to commit to playing at specific times.

Same reason here. CoH1/2 tourneys take place in the middle of the day for me, so I'm never sure whether some real life situation won't interfer my plans, thus I don't want to sign up if I'm not 99% sure that I be able to participate.

i'm not saying COH2 is p2w, it isn't.

Yes, it is.

I've lost plenty of games just because my enemy had a Tiger Ace and I did not.

This isn't a balance thread. We are working closer with the community than at any time previous in our history and have been running a balance beta with a number of players from every skill level.

Taking part in that would be helpful to us and allow you to get a sense of where balance is going in the game.

I call bullshit and Budwise is right.

and Btw what tournaments have you guys hosted this year? this whole thread makes 0 sense when the community has to make tournaments to promote your game. Why do you host a tournament this year then ask why we dont take particpation in tournaments?

Well it's Feb. But we've supported SNF and the Reddit tournament so far in the first month and a half of 2014.

So far other people have provided some great feedback. If you're not wanting to, that's cool.

Yeah, the game has been out long enough for the haters to go away and play something else. Some of them are hanging around like a bad smell.

vCoH since the game was released, btw.

Thanks for not answering the question and making me look like a complete ass. here let me repeat my self for you in a dumber version: WHY DON'T YOU HOST YOUR OWN TOURNAMENTS THEN ASK FOR FEEDBACK. After all your calling the tournaments your own.

Perhaps they're still thinking how much should they charge us for signing up to their tournament.

Come on guys...perhaps Relic wants to understand what kind of tourney the community wants before organizing it :)

It would be better if they tried to understand first the kind of game the community wants.

Tip: One without P2W.

There were already countless threads created, why people avoid this game. So i don´t understand the point of opening another one.
However i appreciate the effort, that a relic dev creates a topic by its own and asking the community for help, since relic communication with the community in this forum is quite rare.

I suppose because all kind of opinions are welcomed here if they are writed in a proper way.

If you want only positive feedback you should read the official forums.
