Off-map Reinforments

Hey,

I've been looking for some tutorial telling me how I can fix that off-map reinforcements are simulated and not just spawn next to my base, but so far I don't have any luck finding any.

Anyone has a tutorial for this?

I don't know of one yet so I will write you one.

Step 1: uninstall COH2

Step 2: install vCOH

Congratulations, your units now spawn out of your buildings and the world makes more sense.

Well yea, that's basics, but the way you see them come running from outside the map to your base. I know you need to use the Interactivity stage tool, set it to 50 and brush the part which is not reachable for AI but does allow troops to enter from.

you are prolly doing something wrong then.

Place a starting_territory_team object. assign it to a player and place a map_entry_point (not map_entry_point_player) object within the starting territory.

If you want to spawn units somewhere else instead at your base buildings you have to place "default rally points" for each player. After doing so your new units will move from the map entry point to the set rally points.

I got it working, I figured out what was wrong, thanks though.
