Looking for 2v2 2 Tiger Ace replay

I still don't see how it is feasible to defeat 2 simultaneous Tiger Aces i 2v2.

Immobilising the TA is feasible, but it doesn't really cut it because every AT that gets within sight of the TA is still gets two-shotted.

And suppose you have chosen a commander that does not have heavy artillery? No way to take it out with ranged fire then.

Can anyone recommend a 2v2 replay with two Tiger Aces getting defeated? I wasn't able to find one.

I have found that the best counter when multiple Tiger Ace's are on the field is to select surrender.

I have had great success using the B4 artillery against Tiger blobs in 3 v 3's but it relies heavily on your other two teammates to force them to retreat in to repair.

I hope the consistently negative feedback to the TA will be enough for the devs to admit defeat on this one and change it to a vanilla vet 3 Tiger.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen. There are many players who are quite happy to have the Ace available.

It would be an entirely different story if it was a soviet unit, but QQing won't help. Adaptation is the only way forward.

Replays, anyone?

You can't adapt. If armies are roughly equal and players are of equal skill, the Tiger Ace should win every time unless you get rams off or he doesn't get a mine detector to escort.

That is still my main problem - RNG from rams is something that occurs only a few times a game and may or may not work out in your favor. RNG for most other events in COH2 evens out over a game, but in my opinion it's not fair to allow RNG to rule over an event this important and infrequent.

Generally, you will need 4-5 T34s to have a hope of getting one ram off an escorting force of just gren, gren, shrek as you can expect one tank to be destroyed and one to be disabled...If you went T4, then your only hope is for it to hit a mine or for a conscript squad to get a miraculous rear AT nade off.

I beat 2 simultaneous TA once. But I just got really lucky because I could manage to ram frontally one of them at the first attempt. Throw at him an IL2 bomb strike and give it the final blow with a vet3 ZiS before the other TA could help it.

Against the other Tiger, I just avoided it till the VP drain gave us the victory.

Against better players we would have been crushed without doubt.

Yet, I have read several players telling that it can be killed on a regular basis and that the patch has made it balanced. Ignoring some of the usual, biased fan-boys, there are still enough that there has got to be something to it.

I just want to see some replays because it's much easier said than done.

you should ask those sturmtiger guys. yesterday on stream they made it happen to lose both their tiger aces and afterwards the game.

I have 1 replay that features a 2vs2 and enemy using tiger ace´s at the sametime, but its on rails and metal and COH2.org wont allow it to upload due to a bug in the system

Yeah the Tiger Ace is such a pain in the arse the amount of games that I lose just because of tiger ace is really annoying. Especially since the recent f"*^*ng buff they gave it. I see players now calling it in waiting in base for a few mins then sending it out knowing their resource will be back in a few mins.

Never played vs two but I imagine its just ridiculous. Ppl dont even push with them now they just hold VP's with the ace so it can't get disabled then push after resource is back. The vetting is really annoying too especially in team games "o look every single god dam tank has blitzkrieg and there's three squads of the expendables running around"

worst commander ever.........

If you play bigger games it kind of gets absorbed. Played a 3 v 3 on Hill 331 recently where I'd say it was a hindrance, stuck in the mud getting spanked by SU85s and rammed left, right and centre.

I just killed one today in a very effective way....by remanning a Panther :/

The best counter to german tanks are german tanks. Kind of odd.
