Currently i can go to the last post straight away if thread has new posts (green text with arrow). I am thinking that maybe you can add the gray arrow also and let user go to the last post of the thread even if the new post count is 0.

you can already do that by clicking into the "last post" area of a thread in the forum index. It's highlighted in blue, once you hover over that area.

Aha, i see, a bit confusing. Nothing seem to give me an hint
I think it would not hurt (should be fairly easy) to make the change i have suggested.

Your suggestions have been awesome, Janx, but I don't understand this one. We have a "New" column, with a green number and green arrow that takes you to the first new post, and we have a "Last Post" column, that hovers blue and will take you to the last post. Dunno how it could be any more clear and I see no reason to change anything.

The same green arrow (maybe gray in this time) that is always visible in the column somewhere? Thing is that i cannot see the hover blue when i am not hovering the column
I will try to elaborate why current experience is weird to my brain
I can hover whole thread row. It conveniently shows me where i am in the list, now, the hover effect hints me that whole row is clickable, good. Nothing hints me that one of the 5 columns behaves differently tho. I immediately got the behavior of the "new" column (even without clicking/hovering), but about the "last post" i found out just now.
True, maybe i am the only one here who did not realize that this column is clickable.
Hope that explains

I didn't get that you could go to the last post by clicking on the last column at first as well. I like the idea of adding some sort of arrow in that column. It would still look ok and you would know from the first glance that you can use it as a button to go to the last post.
