Hi guys
my problem is that i dont receive a validation email for the free "defense tactics" commanders. i've already been waiting for the email for 2 days now, and i tried it with multiple emails.
what can i do or what did i probably wrong?

Are we supposed to get the defensive commanders for both Ost and Soviet? cuz i only got the one for Ost. Didn't think anything of it till I saw this post. I received and clicked on the verification email though.

It's not for registering for the forums, it for registering in-game.

yes, this is what i did:
go ingame -> options -> forgot to register? -> fill in email + password -> then it replies that i will receive a verification email

but i didnt receive any email until now, i tried it with 2 different email addresses and am waiting for over 3 days now

okay, now i got one, i tried it with 2 email addresses with a german domain, now i have tried it with googlemail and instantly received the mail....so it seems like the script cant handle german domains or something like that

You should the mail within a few minutes. Unfortunately the mail server from Relic has a pretty bad configuration and multiple mailservers are rejecting the mail with the codes as junk/spam.

How does it know though? Do I have to use my steam account email?

you can use any email address you want, when you send the registration info to them you are already logged in to your steam account. Their system simply ties your steam account to the email you provided and authenticated with them.
