CoH2 Mod - The Steel Front

Hello, here i want share my mod i've been working on for quite a while as a passion project. I am posting this here since i was looking for more people to join my mod's community and help by interacting, playtesting the mod. We try to host play sessions as much as possible, but had a lack of people to join us recently.

Welcome to the THE STEEL FRONT


The Steel Front is a mod focused on both PVE and PVP, that reworks existing factions, adds new units, abilities, artwork, new mechanics (such as the unique but simple commander menu) and bit of realism, historical accuracy to the game, but preserving the vanilla CoH2 gameplay and feel.

Lot of time is spent polishing the mod and improving balance, to make it as much enjoyable as possible. However such task is not easy, so please, don't refrain from sharing your feedback regarding the mod.

The Steel Front uses Wikinger skins made by Starbuck, they are required by many unique vehicles in the mod. Subscribe (...and download) these skin packs (Can be found under required files). They will then proceed to appear on vehicles and tanks that require them, no need to manualy select them.

FACTIONS



WEHRMACHT

The Wehrmacht is a versatile and robust faction that performs well on the defensive, but too has access to variety of assault troops in a form of elite infantry, mechanized, and heavy vehicles that can easily turn the tides of battle.

RED ARMY

The Red Army is a unrelenting, all-around force with access to variety of assault and versatile units that can respond to most threats, not letting the enemy gain advantage.
Its troops can dominate the battlefield by numbers or deploy powerful heavy tanks and elite infantry to crush the opponent.

WAFFEN-SS

The Waffen-SS is an aggressive mechanised force that relies on elite infantry and light armor support to take control over the battlefield in early stages, later relying on the strengtht of heavy armor to overpower and crush the enemy.

US EXPEDITIONARY FORCES

The expeditionary forces of the US military, are an aggressive and overhelming force that utilises combined arms, artillery, and air support to dominate the enemy and not give them chance to dig in.
Its versatile and mechanised troops can overrun the enemy early, followed by a deployment of a versatile armored force.

COMMONWEALTH FORCES

The armies of Britain and its dominions, are a flexible, resilient force with access to strong fortifications, emplacements, and elite infantry troops.
Its versatile armored units will make sure to defeat the enemy armor and penetrate opponent's defenses to achieve victory.
