Hi all, can any1 explain to me stats and difference between this two? Like damage/ armor/ dps/ survival and tactics and such? No need to remind me that one is doctrinal, another is not. Since both have same guns of same caliber of 85mm, does it mean that they do same penetrating damage? If I throw 2 T34-85 on Panther, what will the outcome be?

t34/85 has 120 penetration, 40 range, 2.5 AOE, 124 front armor, 800 hp, and it shoots every 6.25 seconds.
su85 has 170 pen, 60 range, 1 AOE, 180 front armor, 640 hp and shoots every 4.25 seconds.
both do 160 damage.
the t34/85 is the better all around tank obviously, but still cant compare to the su85 for AT. with good micro, you may be able to kill at panther with 2 t34/85s, especially if you ram with one. overall, id say they would lose more often than they win though unless you can hit the panthers rear armor.

Ive had reasonable success with 34/85's against panthers, often forcing them to retreat and repair.. Ive chased them into their base before.
When they do get awayto repair, you want to take advantage of self repair + use engies and get the 34/85s back in the fight quicker than the panther can.
Panthers still have good speed and will try to outmanouver you, so its a good idea to have a ZiS to fall back to which acts like a safe zone
Guard motor might be nice to have both the SU85 and 34/85, needing guards for early AT.. but thats expensive on fuel, and also not that great anti inf, so probably need snipers.

Yeah, I've played Guards Motor few times, seems to be a decent commander - once you pin inf with maxim, that HM-38 can do pretty nasty damage. Also, combo T34-85, SU-85, ZiS-3 and guards with button and Mark the Vehicle work very very good. It needs tons of muni to complete the move though

Thats a strong combo, but a bit too heavy on AT, a clever Ost will notice the unit composition and go heavy on infantry and paks, wasting all those resources you spent on getting SU85 and paks.
