i think to keep 0.50 flavor, make it 3 man team and keep its fast setup unpack times.

Awesome idea.
We could then balance super potency of HMG42 by making it 2 man team.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Scott nerfs is due but doesn't have any interesting changes applied to it (barrage) in order for it to be used. It will probable see little to no use till the next commander patch on which they MIGHT try something new for it.

No words in regards to the .50 cal. I've made posts in the past regarding my issues with suppression that goes beyond the performance of any particular MG.

Global doctrinal stats boosts are unfortunately not in the scope of this patch (next patch will be focused on commander abilities) so expect them to be nerfed in the future.

Yes, things like Radio silent will remain to overperform because unfortunately it's not in the group of meta commanders in live (those are the only commanders that are allowed to be changed in this patch).

top players dont think mg42 is a standout any more these days.

i think a fast 3 men 0.50 certainly helps the flavor

And I think you should already accept the fact that allies won't be hard nerfed just because brummbar was a bit.

Ehhh, as a former retiree player coming back. Don't think the MG is gonna get less usage after the nerfs. It's still one of the fastest setup/pack-up MGs plus meta usually brought 2 of them which was very obnoxious to deal with as Axis. And I play lots of USF back then (now UKF cause I dislike meta factions)
