What is up with the comets main guns projectile? I've been meaning to ask this for a while but always forgot.

It looks like the shells come from underneath the tank and sometimes you dont even see the shots being fired, only hear the shot and then see the explosion, it's very weird and I only ever notice it with the comet.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

Good to know, I take it then it has absolutley no impact of the performance of the gun, its just a visual... glitch?

An intended visual quirk, yes. That's what I understand it to be.

The comet tank main gun uses a 17 punder gun projectile (brit_17_punder_shell_mp)
It has an unsuitable luncher marker (fx_marker_muzzle)
Replace it with sherman firefly main gun projectile (aef_76mm_high_velocity_tank_shell_mp)
The correct projectile path will be displayed
