If you select a unit and give it shift commands, then decide actually no, go here in this order instead. The squad completely ignore your new orders and continues with the old orders even when you have not used shift to que the new set of orders unless you leave a huge delay between the order sets.

Shift commands have been broken for a long time, they break after a certain iteration and start being garbage. I don't know the particulars just confirming your belief and stating that it's been that way for a while :(

- Install Nohboard.
- Record yourself playing with Nohboard overlay.
- Report if you find a disparity between what you click and what happens.

It's been like this since release. I remember doing some testing not too long after the initial release of the game and I remember units not following orders back then as well.

Isn't it the case that unless it's a specific order (vault, construction, capture point) units barely get near the specific point and just continue to the new rally point ?

I have noticed it far more this patch though, I never remember having so many issues with squad orders from clicking on the top of a flag causing your squad to capture the point:

To squads with shift queues needing a massive gap before issuing them new orders and scrapping the old ones.

the 'clicking the flag' part has been like this as far back as i can remember.

Ill have to take your word for it then pal as this is possibly the first time I have experienced the hit box of the flags, I always assumed you had to click the base of the flag.
