Does anyone know the numbers behind igniting buildings? Like how long do i have to use my flamethrower etc.

In my expirience it is around 15-25 flame bursts from infanrty flamethrower or about 1-2 minutes of continious firing. That should be enough to put it into smoking state, and from then it is another 1-2 minutes of firing until fire bursts out of the windows.

i figured, that flame bombing run of OSt or flame ht can ignite it sometimes after 5-6 seconds.
Normal flame group do take ages.

Flame halftrack does it much much faster than normal flamethrower, try that.

Long ago in probably 2014-15 buildings used to set aflame very quickly. So they raised the "set afire" threshold by 4x. Then they toned flame weapons down and the 4x durability still remains ingame. So it takes eons for flamethrowers to set them on fire. Only a select few weapons can do it in a reasonable time now.
