Post stays on top in Thread Index

It occurred to me before that some posts remain on top of the Side-Wide Thread Index while the last post date in older than the post beneath it. Today it happend to my own post and there is one thing I did different. Within one minute after posting, I updated the topic to change the title. Perhaps this could help to find the cause.
