I just noticed in a game how a strafe called in during the last seconds BEFORE the blizzard set in, continued for its entire duration DURING the blizzard.
Since you cannot order a strafe during blizzard, should it not also stop working during a blizzard? And is it not at the players' risk to waste some of the ammo used on the strafe? I mean: the blizzard is announced long before so it's a question of the player paying attention.

scout planes work the same way. i dont think it needs to change. it really doesnt have a huge effect

Dunno what's your problem. While the blizzard is active your soldiers are moving like turtles and with strafe they move like fucking crippled turtles.

I suppose that was irony? Which incidentally doesn't Work very well on the internet.
But you got it right. Strafe is extra powerfull during the blizzard. You can find other threads here claiming strafes are OP. I'm not sure I buy that in general, but I think it definately is during blizzards.
Plus it's totally, massively unrealistic.
