The Flak emplacement does 20 damage per penetrating hit. A medium tank needs to take atleast 60 damage prior to snare before getting engine damage.

I only saw the Flak emplacement penetrating twice, which means 40 damage. Very strange that the snare still triggered engine damage.

Maybe the damaged engine threshold is slightly higher between 75% and 79%, instead of 75%?

I am confused now. Wasnt Taxman claiming UKF is easy mode. How come he lost 4 of the last 5 games with UKF and the only win coming against rank 600 OKW players?
