Oh I can only imagine the shock and horror as Sage's beloved SU85 and Soviets were totally turned against him. He's been blabbering across the boards "Ost are so easy mode, so OP!!!!! Look at me!!!" posting games as axis against players either not playing or well below him. Eat crow.

TO WHAT PRAY-TELL IS YOUR SOLUTION TO THE SNIPER/SU85/KATYUSHKA/BLIZZARDSSSSSSSS?

@rebel as Link said I thought the game was over and pretty much threw the game at that point. Penal didn't win the game. Su-85 and ISU-152 backed snipers (and some good (albeit lucky crits) mine placement)won him the game combined with my poor doctrine choice. The Penals were nothing but cannon fodder for Scout Cars (30+kills).

@ Dave this was the first time I have been up against ISU-152. TBH I was confused as to which german doctrine to pick this game and picked wrong one. Su-85 is not OP. Langres is a WIDE OPEN MAP and you need Elephant to counter this since it's hard to flank on this map w/ P-4. Also, if it wasn't for the Heavy Engine Damage Crit lucky break I would have had 2+ P4 to deal with 1 SU-85. With proper Doctrine choice and not thinking it was already over (and basically stopped playing well) this game could have gone the other way. Soviet is not OP.

@link apologizes for calling the game early I've never played you before and when I saw you using Penals (and losing them and your snipers horribly) I honestly didn't think you were any good. I'm down for a rematch if you would like

Geeze Sage gave up way too easily. If every single one of his artillery attacks kept going for the base he probably could have won off an annihilation victory. Instead he targetted the mid a few times. Also killing his own scout car haha.

3 Snipers and Su-85's. I did everything you can in this patch to kill them (arty, mortar, PAK43 and pray you hit the snipers) but no luck. And yes, it's just a matter of luck since there is no hard counter.

Germans have to out-micro early game to get a fuel advantage and get tanks out before Su-85's hit, which is what I did, but I lost this when my P4 hit the mine and got the very rare Heavy Engine Damage basically making so it couldn't even move (as opposed to normal engine damage I would have been fine). Also, when I noticed his SU-85's were separated I went in for a flank on the isolated one but again insane luck the Su-85 caused 2 engine damage hits on Both my P4's it was sick preventing a flank. That was when I knew it was over, tried to compensate w/arty + pak but then you need luck. At least this patch.

He has a Commander that I don't have. You need Elephant + recon Flight and Command Tank that is a Collector's Edition only commander. I guess you could get by with Jaeger Armor, but like I said earlier in this I didn't choose the right commander... b/c I thought the Pak43 would suffice (it would except for ISU-152, which I also said I have never been up against before.)

Nope, there is just no way to guarantee you will hold up to your end of the bargain. If one of the Site Admin's on this site is willing to enforce the terms of the challenge (that you can never post another replay calling anyone or implying a derogatory term or Noob) then the challenge is on, but without a guarantee like that I'm not going to waste my time.
