I like coh2, but in my opinion, the gunner who controls the machine gun of kubelwagens or tanks (all factions) should be vulnerable, just like in men of war 2.
There are things that I prefer in men of war 2: machine guns on top of tanks can inflict tons of damage, but the gunner is vulnerable, easily killed, and must be replaced when he is killed. The sound effect of tank machine guns is also much more impressive in men of war 2.
Both coh2 and men of war2 are excellent games, but their imperfections are not the same. Coh 2 is more playful (but less realistic) and Mow2 is more realistic (but less playfull).
I think that Coh2 could have been rated higher with more realism.

I mean... In this game, the US player, even by playing perfectly, couldn't do anything against Prodigyigi...

Nah the problem as USF is that the M1 Garand Rifles from your Riflemen have such a low chance to penetrate kubel armor. And that is since kubel got changed from low armor + supression to high armor + no supression + capping unit like 2 years ago.

I've seen 2 kubels winning vs 2 riflemen squads that were standing behind green cover, it's ridiculous. I think your only options there are getting 2-3 RE's, WC51 jeeps or blob your riflemen together vs the kubels.
But every option is very risky and it's likely you lose so much map control that u cant counter the luchs rush.


Give the RE/Paratrooper rifles -I think they are called M1 Carbine- to the USF riflemen and it would be fixed, Relic :snfPeter:

trust me this game survive that long because they took out many "realistic" features

top gunner used to be snipe by sniper and that cause you to spend more munition for another top gunner

i believe they already fix it in revamp mods but make top gunner decrewable is not a right choice i believe

This works well in men of war 2: you just have to put one soldier from one of your squads on top of the tank or light vehicule.

1 models also mean -20% overall DPS
