I don't know how to replicate it, but the effects are similar when a squad is suppressed while being highlighted by an IR halftrack/Valentine.

Enemy units can be seen in the fog of war.

But seems like only OKW? I can't see a single Wehrmacht unit.

When you made this screenshot at which time ? Because i can't see any Axis tanks.

I remember seeing pioneers in FOW. Only infantry can be seen, tanks aren't affected. Don't remember the time, replay should be able to showcase the bug anyway through player camera.

Alright, turns out that Reyon had a valentine that lasted 10 seconds, which is why we could see everything.




So there's nothing new. It's just the old IR HT/Valentine bug.

Best and most simple bugfix: just remove this infrared searchlight shit entirely from the game :snfPeter:

I don't know why Relic thought it's a good idea (game-play and mechanic-wise) to implement units -IR HT and Valentine- that just completely bypass the "true sight" mechanic.

Remember where you could spot half of the map with a jeep/bike that was parked behind a shotblocker in vCoH?
These 2 units are even worse cos they also spot camouflaged units. They require less micro than a mortar pit since they just sit and search non-stop for you (instead of timed ability) and on top of that, the IR HT is non-doctrinal + extremely cheap.
