Hello my friend. I´m really happy you started playing coh2 against real opponents. I´m always happy when someone from my country starts playing this game.

Actually we have really good and organised section of this forum called STATE OFFICE where you can discuss about strategies, search for help or post there threads with replays, so people who are keen on helping you can find you much easier. Next time I recommend you to create thread in state office -> replay review and inserting there replay what you want to get review. By this way you have much bigger chance of getting help in time because most strategists are primary looking there and so replays also inserted there have bigger chance of getting valid review.


Will help you to spot your mistakes you made here, give you valuable feedback and improve your play.

Helping a Wehr noob from the .org replay section

Hello guys and thank you for this. I really appreciate it! First of all, i uploaded this replay, because i wanted to post in the replay review forums. But after i uploaded it i thought, it would be good first to take a look at it on my own. And after i watched it, i was like "wtf i was doing there?" All the things mentioned in your video are so obvious, that i didn`t post on the forums after watching the replay myself.

I thing the biggest mistake at the start was the "action" at enemy cutoff .. i leaved one squad pinned, so the MG was busy while i decap with another gren squad .. now i know, that maybe he lost some time without fuel, but i retreated very damaged squads with low health (which i did with pretty much every squad out there). And then i leaved them in base waiting for the healing bunker .. so in the end i took the cutoff, but lost too much time healing units.

Later in the game i managed to take one of his Vickers. He made two bofors around center VP (i was able to destroy one with mortar), but when he went Centaur II + 2x 6 pounder i panicked. I lost 2 or 3 Pumas (i was trying to learn the Mobile Defense commander .. which i don`t like very much now), one Command P4 and he also wiped out almost all my infantry. Later i lost 2 Panthers in a row (and what a stupid losses they were ...) and that was pretty much it.

But i am trying to learn from it. Next game .. again against Brits .. again Bofors (i think it`s called simcity?) .. this time i won in 16 minutes because of a quick mortar halftrack.

Last game i played yesterday was agains SU. He pushed me of the map because of Maxim spam early on. He even got T34 in my base almost destroying my T3 building i just build .. but i managed to came back with about 130 VPs left and he surrendered in the end.

One thing i really want to know - is Flame HT really a better choice against 2 or more vickers / Maxims? Because i think 222 has better armor and it`s very fragile against them. I know i have to flank and get out of their shooting radius, but still i feel like .. the HT would be dead sooner as it could flank the MGs.
