Yeah, teller explode under Centaur and didn't make any damage. Around 15 min
And 4 piats almost solo knocked out a Elephant which couldn't even escape to his mobility and PIATs range
This's WBP 1,4 for sure

I am not convinced that the title of the replay actually corresponds with the content of the replay.
4 PIATs already vaporise Elefants in the live version. It takes 18 hits, regardless of penetration or not to kill any heavy tank due to the insane deflection damage. Thus, that Elefant would have vapourized way earlier with live version PIATs than the PIATs you tried.
4 PIATs can deal up to 400 damage, if all of them penetrate. The reason why Hector's Elefant evaporated so quickly is because it was facing its rear on the PIATs; bad move.
Live version PIAT range: 45
WBP PIAT range: 30
Now that's what the theory says.
Practice says I did some significant messing with damage values to fix veterancy issues. I did a recheck, and I couldn't find anything that indicates a bug. However, do keep your eyes open, because there might be one.

You didn´t saw that teller bug when centaur pushed too far was almost dead to pak fire, reversed throught teller, teller exploded but did no damage?
Also do you want to tell me that 4 PIATS whitch cost 200 munnition and can be equiped to 210 mp 5 member squads are balanced when they kill kingtiger (one of strongest tanks in game) in same time as 4 schrecks that cost 240 munnition and are on 2 340mp 4 member squads ? In tests zooks took out tiger in 50% more time than schrecks/zooks.
Something had to be done with piats, yes they may be fine against lights when you can kite them, but lategame kiting with heavy tanks while you are under comet fire as well isn´t that easy.

Kingtiger wasn´t facing his ass. We did front armor tests, not back armor. Do these tests yourself as well if you don´t believe me.
Buy 2 engi with 4 piats, remove kt gun and fire
Buy 2 pgrens with 4 schrecs, remove kt gun fire
You will see that times for both are almost the same (5 second diffrence)
Then try with zooks on frontal armor. Difference is much bigger there.
Once again, we weren´t shoting at tigers ass

PIATs do deal 25% more damage than bazookas, to account for shorter range and lack of snares for the Brit faction.
PIATs have identical penetration to bazookas, but for equal range. This means that if you used attack-move to compare bazooka/PIAT damage, it might be that you were firing your bazookas from further on. That means lower penetration.
I'll have to recheck for myself, so thanks for bringing this up.

My mistake. PIATs still fire a lot faster than bazookas, which I don't think is the intended design (alpha strike should make up for range, probably not reload time as well). Thanks for persevering.

We fired all weapons at same ranges by placing squads in almost same place and also doing the same with kt.
