Ok I'm no expert so I'm asking those experts out there what did I do wrong in this game? T3 and T4 are necessary to counter P4 spam and Strafe, so how do you do it? Tier 4 first then Tier 3? how do you prevent insta-kill of snipers from Strafe? Even w/ Quads the first fly by will still kill your sniper.

Anyone that can beat Strafe P4 spam on a large map consistently with Soviet please share your thoughts, as I'm sure I'm not the only one struggling with this.

SageOfTheSix, this was not a serious game, by any account. I wouldn't have even abused strafe this much in a proper game so my apologies if you took offence by this. It was extremely late/early, I was streaming, had no energy and did not have any motivation to play properly.

yes it's late here as well, probably why I got agitated. But on this very LARGE map, I just don't see how this strategy can be beaten. Distance is just too far for me to be constantly taking out the OPELs.

This strategy is not a problem on the smaller maps. I think this map and Strafe both need to a serious redo.

There is no counter to Strafing Run. The M5 Quad doesn't destroy the plane before it kills your snipers and often will fail to kill the plane reliably in general. Just wait for a patch.

The only thing you can do right now is go Tier 2/4 because HMGs/Mortars won't be killed by Strafing Run and can fire even while pinned.

In the last patch MG's were patched so that they deal no damage or suppression while pinned so maxim's are not really an answer either. Strafe is going to be patched soon, thats all you can do, wait.

if strafe is annoying then i suggest to use tactic that focuses on very fast capping, always remember that ammunition is their main resource for anything, going for a T3 just for a quad is like wasting fuel, MP and time in my opinion, instead of that you can try only tank battles and keep your infantry spread out

Yeah, this is a good point. You might try going for a huge Conscript spam (like 6 squads), especially on Pripyat Winter.
