Just had this game. I totally dominated the early and midgame, capping almost the entire map. Then the Sim city horror started. He built 3-4 Bofos + Mortar and forward assembly. I used LeFH 10.5, Mortar Carrier, Pak, 2 Panthers and 2 Pgrens with 4 Panzerschrecks but I only managed to destroy 2-3. I then eventually lost from 300-8 to 0-8. Please guys watch this replay and tell me how to counter sim city.

You had really good early game. Will just point things out. You knew he went bofors really early. You can ignore his emplacements, just keep him from building placements on critical spots on the other 2 VP.
1. You had double fuel, rush pzIV. Better dps on emplacements than panther (which comes too late)
2. You had sniper and PAK + mortar halftrack. You didn't use sniper to give vision early game for PAK to attack the Bofors, but tried to attack ground to darkness, which isn't good. The sniper was putting vision when u had nothing to attack it. You could have used MG to guard pak+sniper. a)Sniper vision&Kill repair infantry b) PAK attack bofors c) Mortar normal barrage it. When it hits brace u keep firing, but when about 30s gone, you use incendiary barrage on it, and it's gone. Rinse and repeat. Just try notice if he barrage your PAK with mortar emplacement/bofor barrage.
3. You could have build 222 to keep you information on the left side, he just capped you with infantry section or 1 vickers, which 222 could have fended off.
4. You used ammunition for Grens for lmg, when u need those ammos for incendiary shots for your mortar halftrack. You could have even gone for second mortar halftrack. Or rather you should have rushed P4 to pressure his mortars from the side or make sure the bofors go down...
5. Engineer with flamer, when he hit brace you could have gone to the building and flame the bofors down.
One thing I noticed that you have to keep tabs on what the brit player is doing, even sometimes not using sniper for anything else but give vision. 222 with HP buff can easily keep flanks, even more easy with 2x222's. And if you get Bofors down, you can rush with 222's to pressure his mortar emplacements, they go down pretty fast and if Brace. You again wait it to almost go off, then incendiary barrage it down.
Hope this help atleast little. But against emplacements, it's never good choice go t4 fast...
ps. About counter barrage, when you are putting your leFH down use it's range marker to see if it can fire to brits HQ buildings, if it can then you are in range of his counter barrage. So try building it so far away that you can't fire his HQ, then you don't get counter barraged.
pss. Stug / panther with spotting scope should be able to fire at max range without being fired back. But need to be in that max range.

The LefH gets a range upgrade too at vet 2/3 I believe. It should easily get this from pounding away at emplacements. So don't build them too far forward in danger of being spotted by tanks/counter barrage/off maps.

I can't play the replay... which seems to happen a lot.
Is there a standalone player?

LefH vets fast when shooting at emplacements. It also takes them down fast if you can fire from around half range. Counter barrage can be a problem, especially on small maps like Crossing or Faymonville.

as can seen in the replay I builded the LeFH as close to the base as possible.(cant build it IN base). I could reinforce my LeFH but that counter barrage seems to have unlimited range

Its not unlimited range, its the fact that langres is a small map, so the counter battery covers the entire map.

Ok good to know that it does not have unlimited range, on which 1 vs 1 maps does it not cover the entire map? Btw the replay is on Angoville
