Hey,

You made mostly common mistakes which everyone does.

Fighting on negative (roads) cover
Never fight on negative cover, try to find positive cover in all engagements

Capping VP's instead of resources early game
Personally I always want to cap as many resource points as possible and take the VP point after

Units not being retreated in time
This happens to all players and improves over time, use the tac map to keep an eye on multiple units


Sending units deep into enemy territory to decap point and losing them
De-capping cut-offs and resource points is good, but if the point is deep inside their territory it is likely you will lose that squad


Capping points with multiple squads
When capping points use 1 squad, and another to either cap another point or provide cover, in general try to keep units spread out, this helps prevents squad wipes
