Relic did a great job creating two very different units when comparing Soviet and German Snipers. Here's a demonstration of great stealth use by the German sniper, and ultimately taking out a few enemy sniper squads.
The main purpose of this demonstration was to show that if the German sniper fires the first shot from stealth cover, the Soviet sniper won't have a chance to shoot back.
