German Counterattack Comeback of the OKW elite

Epic Comeback by me Waffle Kitty Bang Bang and my buddy nicfranciz!

Early Game

OKW splits into capturing as much fuel points as possible, Nicfranciz early on doesnt meet any resistance on the west bank however Waffle Kitty meets tough resistance in the town graveyard as both players seemed to have focused their efforts into gaining control of the crucial junction of the town chokepoints. Allies gain early upperhand with control of the town

Mid Game.

OKW changes their strategy by combining their forces on the west bank to try to shift attention of the allied advance. Majority of the fighting focused on the bridge and an early attempt at breaking through the allied bases. I resolved to purchasing a puma and Jagdpanzer IV while nicfranciz was focused on building the infantries. The opponents meanwhile clutter near the bridge and spammed MG's AT's Hellcats and built some howitzers. The focus of the game from this point on went to the bridge tug of war.

Mid to late Transition

The Allies blast hard the Germans with their incendiary tactics as well as pinpoint barrages by the recon scouts. They However remain static throughout the battle. At this point Nic was able to scurry a sturmtgier to try to break through the allied defense. Casualties are high on both sides as each german advance is also slowed down by the repeating artillery fire and incendiaries. At one point the allies try to make a breakthrough to the bank but the OKW forces were ready to counterattack as the American forces were unaware of the hidden raketen's near the OKW forward HQ.

Late Game - 2 Kings.





After the failed attemp at a breakthrough by the allies, Nic was able to bringout a stuka halftrack. Using the Stuka Rockets, Nic was able to soften up the resistance at the town and inflict devastating casualties to the enemy. At this point the German forces were able to have a good hold on the middle part of the bridge and were able to buy enough time for both players to be able to spawn the fearsome Pandakampfwagen VI tiger. I sent over my KT to the bridge awaiting full repair of my JT and my grenadiers to push. This is where the tide turned as nic was very helpful in softening the static at guns in the town. I ordered my KT to just control the crossroads while Nic sent his KT to control cemetery hill and he was able to also knock down three Hellcats on his own. Afterwards the count down timer went easy on us as we were able to gain full map control.
