To be fair, this mostly worked because their opponent's didn't properly counter it I found. They basically ignored the flanks, allowing the US to accumulate fuel and VPs, while REs would have been very easy to drive off if they weren't blobbed. Since they have no smoke MG42s would have have stopped them fast. Also 2 elefants when your main problem is infantry? Eh.
Still a very fun game to watch!

LOL! I felt the USF could have used more call in arty and stayed on the Priests, but then the USF team were probably laughing too much to think about much more than making more REblob. GG and fun to watch

Laughing was a big part of our gameplan. We imagined Hans reaction to it, playing all strategically and what not, while we were doing the exact opposite.
Regarding RE spam: It's a troll tactic. It completely get's shut down by any aggression before you can even reach 3CPs, because RE basically have no damage output without LMGs. LMGs and 1919s in particular are the root of the problem, and this game shows it perfectly. The weakest unit in the game suddenly becomes extremely cost efficient and can fight even Obersoldaten manpower-efficiently, which is absolutely backwards.
