1v1 USF vs OST

Hello,

I'm a fairly new player to Coh 2 and I started playing 1v1 automatch to get better after practicing with hard bots for many games.
So far its been ups and downs in the few games I had and i'm slowly learning along the way.
I decided to focus on UKF for as I like playing them the most.

In this game, I got completely destroyed and I'm having hard time to pinpoint what I could have done better in this game.

My general strategy was to open with a 2nd HMG to cap my side and stick close to my first IS, I noticed that the first engagement is very important to win as brits its very hard to come back and push a dug-up opponent in the early game.
From there i was hoping to secure the left side with an HMG and push other sides with a IS, but it feels like I lost the infantry game and got over-run, I took this inspiration from this guide:

I had big issues dislodging hes HMG in general but that in that hut was impossible to remove, once he fortified the entire area, it was impossible to get close, my only conclusion that maybe i should have went for a WASP UC early on but other then that I couldn't think about anything else, and in general hes HMG's were very oppressive.

Also, I think that after this game I understood the importance of getting a sapper asap with a mine sweeper....

I would be very thankful if you folks can criticize my game play and strategy, any tips or helpful information, especially against oppressive OST HMG plays would be greatly appreciated.
