Writer and Media Recruitment March 2019

Greetings, folks! The front page is lonely. We are looking for people to populate it with content as well as our social media platforms. More on that below.






Abilities:

• Access to the Staff Forums
  
• Can Edit News and Guides
  
• May Put up Invisible News and Guides, while the Editors can publish them

Traditionally, writers would mostly write game related articles. That need not be the case for you. Anything World War 2 related, or related to any of the ingame factions' countries during or leading up to the war is fine too. In other words: history articles are bright green!

As are strategic and tactical articles, an area that the strategist usually presides over. Be wary that you would be stepping into the territory of the Lead Strategist. You may have to consult him or his juniors on the matter.

Game design? Go for it. Some little tidbit? Sure, that can be a blog post, and so on, and on. Your imagination may very well be the limit.

The social media guys are responsible for our Twitter, Facebook, and such. As we currently are lacking a Director of Social Media, we are also keeping an eye out for that. Although, you cannot apply directly for the role of Director unless we already know you quite well.

The job itself involves writing small tidbits to go on our platforms. Be that a snippet of history, a funny CoH2 gif, or anything inbetween.

Should the writing position not tempt you, you are always free to write and send in articles to the various heads. You may want to contact them ahead of time before doing so, to hear if the content or idea would be appropriate for the site. We do not wish to waste your time.

For general writing, it is the Editor in Chief you would contact.
For strategy content, that would be the Lead Strategist.
For social media ideas, the Director of Social Media would be your guy or gal.
