In celebration of the tenth anniversary of Company of Heroes, Kommandobefehl - A Map Pack of Resistance Combat, has finally been released! This collection consists of a variety of maps from around the world, with a distinct focus on those forces operating behind enemy lines, whether as Partisans, Commandos or Freedom Fighters. Maps will be created by MonolithicBacon, with contributions from Mirage and original concepts from DonXavi, alongside skinpacks created by MonolithicBacon and the legendary Starbuck.
Of course, a Map Pack like this isn't created without a little inspiration! Our Editor in Chief Pigsoup, and our Lead Artist TM.Dutchy have done some excellent research in digging out photographs from the locations and time for your pleasure, which are gathered in the Spoiler below:
With so many theatres of war to visit, this Map Pack will be updated continuously, adding the likes of Poland, Yugoslavia, Crete, France and the Netherlands. Stay tuned for updates!
