Ha, the other day I was reading a book to my son, when an illustration in said book seemed familiar. Took me a minute to figure out where I saw it before.

So, the Morra, eh (at least that's what name translates to in German)?

It is the worst nightmare of finnish people, "Mörkö" (Or the groke in Finnish). It's from a finnish children picture book "Muumit" (The moomins). Later it was made into an anime too with the help from some Japanese animators.

Yeah, the book I was reading where this specific illustration appears was Moominland Midwinter...
