Nerfed into the ground?

I find out a very fast T2 is effective. Get a sapper put mines down, everywhere. A sniper to bleed his MP is always a nice thing, but I prefer getting a 2nd sapper first and after that the sniper.

This was the build I did last game and worked out pretty well:
  • Tommy
  • Tommy
  • HMG
  • T2 UPGRADE
  • Sapper
  • Sapper
  • AT gun
  • Sniper


After that I pretty much just builded what I needed to counter what he had. He had quite a lot infantry so I went for more tommy sections.

Just upgrade one tommy squad with a healing upgrade, you need ammo to put those mines down.
If you try this, let me know :)

Played on the map Kholodny Ferma Summer verison.

Uhm this is just the same build prepatch but now with Tommie nerf, Brit early game sucks even more, they still got no effective counter to fast OH sniper, prostruppen and for OKW volk can beat them at mid to short range, 5 man upgrade is more expensive now and even then what does Brit have late game to combat Tiger. 1 healing Tommy only means you always have to keep your inf close that mean no capping power. Brit capping power sux, their def ability got nerfed, late game nerfed, what now? And relying on mines is not always viable, now that OKW can spam flame nade and mines too.

IMO OKW is mainly focused on early game, it's not that easy to get fast med or rep station, with costs on sWS it's impossible to do truck pushing like before, flak HT still sucks, Luchs could be good if called in very fast but it's expensive, OKW should always go for T4 ->P4/JP4 with obersoldats. Also this huge nerfs for Leigs (remove suppression is the biggest one) makes them weak, or at least weaker compared to it's current cost

About OKW doc - it's simply def doc from CoH1 Wehrmacht, advanced warnings revealing huge part of map, truck detections, goliath for ambushes and ofc FTFL which is probsbly cool but havent tested it yet, stuka assault it like the British counterpart Typhoon assault (is that correct name) but instead of rockets they drop 4 bombs and pin infantry with MG's, not very effective vs armour but still can be used well

Based on the meager 12-16 matches I have played I am quite happy with this patch. I never thought I'd see the day when Minsk Pocket was fun and Road to Cutoff feels much better.

Next I'd like to see a USF Recon Company Overhaul and Mechanized Company improved.

- Combine Crew Thompsons with Refit in Mech and Armored Co. so it's a package deal.

- Reduce WC51 cost a bit, or improve the main gun a bit, or improve move speed a bit... it's nigh unusable. I understand that it is practically free after a Refit but I dunno.

I also really like Chukonoku's Gameplay and Balance fix for soviet 1.0.

Although it's an OK article, I don't think you are being objective at all. Have you been playing with Allies and Axis recently? All Allies players see is waves and waves of Volks, and they are not crap anymore. When you play with OKW, you cannot NOT spam Volks since they are very powerful at the moment! With goliath, Volks buff, fuel income 100%, OKW is a force that cannot be beaten if played vs decent players. I mean, last game I had 3 panthers by 20-23th minutes and I have 75% win rate with OKW. As for Allies, I used to have 60% win rate before the patch, I had a solid -4 and -7 streaks. So, I think it's important to be a bit more objective because with Allies, you lose even if you try your ass off and with Axis, you win even if you don't give a crap!

I agree with you.

I play allies mostly but i play axis too. This is a nazi patch. Luchs in 6 min but axis now prefer get p4,panther or KT. I seen KT in 11min (record) but normally is on 18-20min, allies cannot counter KT as we got 8 CP at most, so no arty/air support powerful enough available to counter. ATs are wipe out by KT in 2shots or other medium tanks that bounces KT armor,same with panther. I barely can win now with any allies faction. And the blobs volks,sturmpionners,obersoldaten are unstoppable... only i can win with my mates to relatively axis noobs (i`m referring to 3v3,4v4 games) 2v2 and 1v1 are not so affected.

Relic broke allies, broke this game, i won't pay anymore for commanders they release, they lost my respect after this nazi patch.

After playing many 1v1 games with soviets vs okw.. I can sa y the early 6 min luch is a early game problem , Almost impossible to destroy becuase it requires 3 AT shots, This is a completely rediculs patch
Also late mid game is broken with the early KT, kubul is helping to keep capping the map edges all the time and keep resources floating for KT, and what about the mobile comuflge demo charges .. This is a complete shit.

I was talking about 1vs1 balance as always. And I can see youre mainly 4vs4 player so ...

I did not realize that. I do mainly play 4v4 yes, and my comment is only valid for that mod. However, the developers shouldn't have balanced 1v1 for everything else's expense.

So anybody knows how to play Brit after this patch? Particularly how to deal with OKW tank horde now that Brit late game was nerfed to the ground.


Vs. OKW, I can only survive by building IS, IS, IS, upgrade to Engineer building, Eng., AC upgrade, Eng., AC

And, the only commander that helps the early-mid-game has the M5. Against the OKW, there's no other build order that I have yet to find will work. The Kubels are too fast for capping control, and the SturmPioneers just slaughter the IS--which must fight in cover and stay at med. to far range.

just what works for me.

Stop touhing this game pleas. You guys broke this game enough with change each time abillities in this game. And getting worse... Pleas just Remove this change and Repair Threat of War missions after with updates.

It is get glitch cant locate targest without reveal by oter unit.
It was targeting after scout flight in normal game.

It should be just for tanks don't touch it pleas, it was consuming too much ammo and good targeting inf.

If you look correctly it is support not A.T. run and if you look more correctly it is writing units not tanks. with your damn touch you broke this Commander Deck's strategy
