Halloween Cup - Information

Tomorrow is almost here. Finally we can kick off the Halloween Cup and decide who will be the champion of the most scary cup of all times. With players like Jesulin, Luvnest and Noggano, this cup looks very promising. For those who are not playing, have no fear because you will not miss any action! Everything from Round 3 until the final will be casted throughout the day. For more information about streaming, scroll down the page.

Rules

Please read the rules thoroughly. It's important to know the limitations or general rules for this tournament.

General information

  • Format: 1v1
  • Single elemination
  • Round 1 & Round 2: BO1
  • Rest of the rounds: BO3
  • Standard 500 VP
  • Mirror matches allowed in R1 and R2
  • No bulletins allowed
  • Standard Resources
  • All commanders allowed except Elite Troops (OSTH)

Fixed starting positions

  • On 2p maps, Allies are always in position 1.
  • On 4p maps (like Crossing in the Woods) , Allies may choose between 1 and 2, Axis may choose between 3 and 4.


Faction selection



  • Top seed = Axis, bottom seed = Allies (Only for R3 and up)
  • Player A is the top seed and player B is the bottom seed. A plays as axis in game 1 and allies in game 2.

  • Round 1 and 2
    Mirror matches are allowed in Round 1 and 2, so the choice of faction doesn't matter. Just play the faction you like the most!

  • Round 3,4 Semi's and Final:
    Game 1: B declares SOV/USF/UKF, then A declares OST/OKW.
    Game 2: B declares OST/OKW, then A declares SOV/USF.
    Game 3: VP Winner declares OST/SOV/OKW/USF/UKF, then VP Loser declares his faction.


Check-in and Timetable

  • Check-ins open at 10.30 GMT (= 11.30 CET)
  • Check-ins close at 11.45 GMT (= 12.45 CET)
  • Start cup: 12.00 GMT (=13 CET)
  • Rounds 1, 2 & 3: 12.00 GMT - 16.00 GMT
  • Round 4 and semi-final: 16.30
  • Final: TBC


How to check in?



Checking in means coming online on steam and joining the group chat of the following group:
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/one4onetournaments (if you haven’t joined it yet, please do now). Type ‘Check in’ or something similar to let us know you are ready. We will seed you accordingly and announce your opponent. The bracket will be visible on our website so you can always track your progress and possible future opponents.

How to contact your opponent?



Players can be find here: http://one4one-esports.com/cup-players. Players are also in the steam chat of the group ‘One4One Official’ so you can contact them there or add them on steam.


Reporting score and Replays

Report your score in the same steam chat of the group ‘One4One Tournaments’. The referees will put it in the bracket and move you to another round and thus announcing your next opponent. Replays need to be uploaded right after the match and reported to this forum section:One 4 One Halloween Cup Replays .


Maps

!!!!! All matches need to be played on the Halloween Cup maps. The maps are made darker and scarier to stay in the Halloween mood.
