Welcome to COH2.ORG and the Summer 2015 Mentor Program!
Welcome to COH2.ORG and the Summer 2015 Mentor Program!
!- When I told a senior officer ... that I must have a new head gunner, he remarked that the present man was a delightful person and was also a golf champion. I agreed he was delightful, but added that unfortunately the game we were about to play was not golf. |
Situation
Situation
56 Mentees applied to be mentored and 20 Mentors are on the Training Staff, so the Mentors are in undersupply. However, do not despair! If you proceed to post in the Mentoring Forum and ask for help, there is a chance someone will come and pick you up!
Mission
Mission
The Mentor/Mentee training match-ups are designed to train all Mentees as competent commanders in battle, who will defeat their enemy.
Execution: How to Get Started!
Execution: How to Get Started!
The Mentor will now create his opening thread in the Mentoring Forum, in order to start the instruction. The thread title must include:
- the Mentor's name followed by a ":-"; and
- the name(s) of the Mentee(s)
Each Instructor's thread will be a thread just for him alone and his Mentee(s). Nobody else can comment, unless the Mentor invites them to do so.
Any, or all of the following can be used with the Mentee's replays (generally, Mentors should require replay losses, not wins):-
- post ideas; and/or
- discuss strategies; and/or
- direct the Mentee(s) to your Twitch channel - if you use in-game tuition, please ensure that observer mode is switched on; and/or
- post a Youtube video; and/or
- simply write...

Timing
There is no set time as to how long this program will run, but we are conscious that the British Army take the stage on 03 September 2015 and that there is a tourney scheduled for the end of September. The Instructors must indicate to their Mentees how often they can tutor them each week, and how they want to schedule their program. Remember: even the best laid plan never lasts the first assault! #Adapt!
It is quite possible that some Mentors may end their program by 03 September, so all Mentees must press on and should not delay entering the program. There must be no delay by Mentees in supplying their Mentors with any material which may be needed. Any Mentee who shows signs of shirking, will be returned to unit and will be replaced.

Command & Signals
To find more information about your match-up, you can reference the Mentee 2015 Sign-Ups or the Mentor 2015 Sign-UpsCommand & Signals
Using the requests and information given, the Directing Staff have done their best to match personnel as closely as possible, to their timezone and requirements . If there is an error, send a PM to Major Bloodnok or Budwise, who will adjust accordingly. Selection criteria have been based on timezones and the Mentors' requirements; where there have been several Mentees vying for a slot, precedence has been given to contributors to the Operation Charlie Fox prize pool.
We hope all those who participate will have fun! And we especially extend the thanks of COH2.ORG to our hard working Mentors, for donating their time, knowledge and and effort to this great community!
If you enjoy your time being mentored, please show your appreciation by donating to Operation Charlie Fox
