DropZone Mod
DropZone is an intense and brutal game mode. Every few minutes a dropzone - paradrop landing area - will be selected. There will be multiple paradrops of equipment, team weapons, upgrades, or even vehicles. Pick them up before your enemy does!
The creation of DropZone Mod can be traced back to the complexity of Company of Heroes. The creator, Paid_Player wanted to play a game that was fun and less complex together with his friends. He also believed that it would be better for newer players to enjoy the game by playing a more relaxed mode first before playing the standard Victory Point mode. He wanted to create a game mode that was simpler, more exciting and less stressful.
Paradrops are well balanced. At the start there will not be any game changing weapons. The longer the game goes, the better the equipment will be. Every player has three emergency abilities which makes breaking enemy defensive lines easier. The recharge time is long, so they cannot be used as normal commander abilities.
Currently, Paid_Player has no big plans for this mod. He only wishes to read the feedback from the players for ideas on how to improve the mod. So, leave some feedback for him to read if you played it.
