In my honest opinion I think it's to early.
There are several players who played in alpha and new players can't mess with em cuz months of fewer playin' WFA.
So new players who want to take a look at e sports with CoH will be pressed away. I had waitet one month more before a new cup is comming.
Also no allowed Mirros ( Soviet VS USF etc.) break the competiton feeling here. At all the rules should reworked.

NEVER TOO EARLY! Don't worry, there will be more. Thx ESL for hosting stuff where players can play COH2 in a Best-of-3 format. I hope to see lots of sign-ups, and I'm looking forward to doing my first WFA cast on Sunday.

True, but since these aren't money games players will hopefully use it as an opportunity to show off.

According to the rules page:

The contestant on the left side of the match page will play as Allies for the first game then Axis in the next game

Does this mean that the player on the left side of the match page picks his faction, which is then locked in, and then the other player chooses?
Eg. Left Player picks USA. Right Player picks OKW. Left Player then cannot change his mind and pick Soviets instead.
Correct?
