In this series I am going to give you information about the units which are used in the game. "The Theatre of History" will look past the usual subjects like in-game reload time and speed values and, instead, will give you a historical view on the units of the Wehrmacht and Red Army. "The Theatre of History" will provide you with historical backgrounds and information on how these units were developed and used in World War II.
The German Wehrmacht attacked the Soviet Union on 22 June 1941 with more than 3 million soldiers, 3350 tanks, 7300 field guns and 2000 aircraft, while the Soviet troops counted barely 2 million soldiers under arms. How could the Soviets win this war if they were outnumbered? Which units helped them to defeat the Germans? "The Theatre of History" will bring you this and more information!
