Call for artists

The Artist position is for people who can picture an epic scene in their head and make it a reality. News highlights, SNF splashscreens, guide illustrations: every single picture on this website has a creative mind behind it, and we need more of them!

Your tasks:
The bread and butter work of Artists is to provide images for portal content, in particular "highlight images". However, that's not the only canvas that needs paint. If a Strategist needs help with images for his new Soviet Guide you will be there to assist him, illustrating tactical movement and giving life to the scene. If our Referees are organizing a new tournament format and need a banner or brackets for illustration, you will be there to help them. We are also constantly expanding our features and styling. If you have any skills in web design, we would be thankful for your input and insight.

Here is a list of things you would need to be an Artist on COH2.ORG:

• Above-average skills in graphic design, using professional 2D design software, like Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator or GIMP. This means we want you to be able to do more than just add some text, strokes or blending options to existing graphics.
  
• You need creativity, to come up with new and unique highlight designs for our portal content.
  
• Experience in web design would be nice, but isn't mandatory.
  
• Time! Images are often the bottleneck for new portal content, so we need our artists to be responsive and able to provide pictures within a reasonable time!
  
• Powerful computer hardware would be a nice bonus, because it would allow you to take your own high quality in-game screenshots and videos for your content.
