Relic's Quinn Duffy and Greg Wilson on future of COH2 at EGX Rezzed
Big news everyone!
As part of the EGX Rezzed events on March 28 there will be a session from the dev team of Relic about new content for Company of Heroes 2. As announced on the EGX website, Relic Entertainment's Executive Producer Greg Wilson and Game Director Quinn Duffy will reveal their plans in the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, UK, this Friday. The developer session is called "Something new! (18+)." The discussion with the Relic staff starts at 15:00 GMT. If you are not able to travel to Birmingham to take place in the discussion, you can watch the event on the EGX Twitch livestream.
Nobody knows exactly what the Relic team will announce during the panel discussions, but rumors include major gameplay changes or a possible expansion. Will we see new global updates for the Red Army (e.g. Molotovs) or will T-34/85 become available without being forced to use a specific commander? But the biggest rumor by far is that Relic will change the Commander System back to what it was in vCOH. Will we see a return to three skill-trees for each faction? Will they be customizable? What would you like to see Relic announce on Friday? Leave a comment and let us know!
