CoH Master League: Man lebt nur Zweimal

The first tournament of the CoH Master League is coming to you on June 20th, 2020. Man lebt nur Zweimal (you only live twice), is the first taste of what’s to come and it is, in one word, huge. It’s a thirty-two player, double elimination, one-versus-one extravaganza that spans the last two weekends of June. Featuring a prize pool of $1800 USD (Bond girls not included), the best of the best will be in attendance and fighting not only for money, but for glory. Unfortunately, nobody will have a Japanese girlfriend to save them when they're down, so the players will be giving it their all. The tournament will feature tried-and-true competitive maps from Relic as well as community-made & tested maps to keep things fresh. Check out A_E’s announcement video for more information.

Man lebt nur Zweimal is the first tournament of the Company of Heroes Master League, a community-led project to promote competitive Company of Heroes play. The Master League is organized by community veteran A_E, who has run many tournaments over the years. The closest relative to MLNZ in CoH history is the Grand Championship Series 2 which culminated in a live, 8-player double elimination tournament. Over the 48 hours allotted to the tournament, a full 24 were spent live on Twitch.

The Company of Heroes Master League is a community-driven project that showcases CoH’s competitive scene. It features tournaments every two months and is broadcast live on Twitch. The prize pool is funded by members of the community chipping in small dollar amounts every month. By becoming a Patron, anyone can have the chance to vote on a variety of things that affect future tournaments and events via the exclusive Discord channel that brings together fans, players, and the organizers. In addition to the regular tournaments, the Master League is a living history of Company of Heroes. Detailed statistics of past tournaments are documented and results from the twenty most recent events are used to seed players in upcoming tournaments. This is to ensure that the Master League stays as competitive as possible while providing an archive of past achievements.
