nice guide, well done! :)

However, about the UKF part, I think with the recent changes on the British early game with the Infantry Section reinforce cost reduce, Sten MK Vi Silence SMG nerf, and Wasp dmg buff, early 3-4 Infantry Sections (and imo fast upgrade to 5 men squad) would work better, plus quick Wasp can compliment your army well (mainly since UKF lacks basic indirect fire to deal with mg42s, I like to use a fast wasp to counter that).

Wasp does less damage post patch when you consider the ground DoT and flame damage bonus nerf against garrisons and green cover. The wasp is super bad.

5 man upgrade is a waste of fuel before your first tank in my opinion. I'd never make more than 3 infantry sections and usually when I've made 3 rather than two I wish I just made more snipers. Maybe against double Ost multiple infantry sections would be fine but they don't stand up to vetted OKW elites.

Comet will probably see a lot more play this patch with the significant Churchill nerfs.

vet 2 5 man IS can stand up to most axis inf, but when you give them LMG's (either bren or vickers) they slaughter everything.
I generally opt for them when i find myself unable/unwilling to micro my snipers effectivly, since IS's are rather a-move orientated once upgraded en vetted (really scary when you have that m3 ht reinforcing behind them).

Good guide btw.

I agree wasp is not very good, but considering UKF's lack of indirect fire, it's an effective unit very early game to deal with the mg42.

I also disagree, and think 5 men infantry sections as the vet up do stand up against almost all axis infantry with lmg. (and considering only 28 mp reinforcement cost, compared to the expensive axis infantry...)

Thanks for the great guide.

Again a question for the UKF player - which T3 armor do you chose to field first? I still pick centaur, and have not yet succeeded in putting cromwells to much use. Would like to have your view on british armor?

IMHO, Cromwell + Stuart is just vicious if you have good coordination with your friend, otherwise Centaur to cover your friend' Ambulance/Pack Howie.

I still prefer the Centaur over the Cromwell because 2x UKF AT gun handles any Axis medium with ease.

I've found myself wanting to push for Comet/Churchill as my first tank in some games though. Especially if the Axis rush 2x PaK40 and/or Jp4 in expectation of a quick Centaur.

After the new patch I've found myself going for the 5-man upgrade immediately before my second IS. I will get 3 ISes in total, while saving myself a guaranteed 2x28=56 MP. 3x 5-man IS can stand up to any axis infantry unless you get suppressed.

Also How do you feel about sniper micro? I usually get one sniper for MGs and elite infantry, but going for more has a micro tax especially with heavy indirect fire and counter snipes. Your guide mentions aggression, but I find that easier in terms of preservation with ISes and grenades. Against any decent opponents, they will have AT before your first tank anyway so do you feel it's absolutely worth to rush every second of it?

I'm not sure that 56 manpower is worth the fuel investment that early for 5 man squads.

Snipers help you deal with Kubels, MG42s, Sturms, and any light vehicle that can threaten your ally's M20. The UKF sniper is amazing.

My play-style lends itself towards preferring snipers over IS but depending on the map and situation you can get IS over Snipers. If you feel like having multiple snipers will put too much micro pressure on you, play with the IS instead.

This patch it is probably not worth it to rush Centaur if they already have 2x PaK or a Jp4 on the field.

I really like the british as an early support build, and the american build nicely reflects the current meta, but I think there should be some emphasis in the american midgame. The late game seems pretty obvious (A preist and 1 or 2 jacksons for americans) but getting a captain results in some squishy adapty stuff that this guide kind of glosses over. Despite the doctrinal mortar HT, I think I would find myself going the pack howitzer after a fast stuart if I built captain, but I'm interesed in hearing your guys' opinion.
