I don't think the price is the issue. I generally don't like the way dlc is in games now but its here to stay. You have games like Cod and BF that I feel you kinda have to buy all the DLC because if you want to play with friends and stuff, lacking maps etc can be a real pain. The way its done in coh is better imo, because not having commanders and stuff doesn't physically stop you playing with people who have or don't have the dlc. I am against pay to win however and it shouldn't be the way that you have to buy a commander to give you an advantage over someone who doesn't have it. It's even worse when its almost required to have it because other people are using p2w against you.
I fine with dlc like skins and Tow (I really like TOW, I think its fun). Considering the way that Elite Troops and Soviet Industry launched, I (and others I would imagine) can't help but feel they were released in this way to generate $$$$. They were clearly far from balanced. The way they are now is much much better.

some people don't seem to understand the problem.Lets say we have a conscript squad. And an Mg-42 with a gren squad.Oorah molotov costs the same as the riflegrenade nope. By nope do you mean yes or did you fail maths in school? however, while getting close, conscripts will take considerable damage and will lose atleast 3 crewmembers If they attack through the middle of the road. They would probably lose a guy or two even if the mg42 wasnt there. At best, they can kill 2 crewmembers, often , they wont kill anything. If german players repositions in due time his mg, there are 50% chances for the mg not to lose one model, and 50% chances to lose one model. If german player doesn't move his mg in due time, he might lose between 3 and all crew members If the mg42 is already moving when the molotov is thrown, there is a decent chance they wont even lose 1 guy, might lose a bit of hp but nothing drastic. If he doesnt move his mg, there is a high chance of him losing 1 guy but I've never seen a molotov do more than that on a full hp mg42 or any other german squad. You would only lose 3 or all if you stood in the fire, but we all know standing in the fire is bad Now lets say we have a grenadier approaching a maxmim,while 1 conscript squad is gaurding it. Maxim surpresses grenadiers, and grenadiers fire rifle nade. They kill 3 men, which is 45 manpower 2, 3, or 4 men, depening on situation. Or 6? And grens retreat with probaly no losses ( might have lost one) Yes, if maxim is alone. If 1 con squad is next to maxim like in your example, be sure they will lose more. Why would the Grenadier squad lose men if there were conscripts there? Doesn't take long to walk up and rifle grenade it and squad wipe it (you know, that thing german players always complain about) and then just hit retreat. So there you have it folks, that is the problem. Grenadiers can assault maxim and inflict manpower losses while losing no manpower, while soviets can assault an mg for and cause some manpower losses, but probaly taking more while doing so. Not convinced. Not convinced of what? I already proved how easy it is for a riflenade to hurt a maxim squad. You have not given any evidence regarding how molotovs can instant kill 3 or 4 mg42 crew members except with your excessive German bias whining. In: COH2 Balance |

How is a 4 man gren squad on low health equal to a full health 6 man mg squad at range? It's funny that even when there is evidence of something showing a german unit or ability being too good or strong, you still defend it. I suppose you will tell me I am a soviet fanboy as well? Ever done this with a Molotov because I never have. Notice how I wasn't even the arc of the maxim and there for not suppressed and yet I squad wiped it with 1 rifle grenade. Granted the men won't normally stack like that but even so. This is the issue I have with the rifle grenade. Range is too good and does too much damage. If the range was reduced while suppressed like many have suggested, it wouldn't have made any difference in that situation. In: COH2 Balance |

Panzerwerfers are not a good option ever. If you are in t4 build some #$&#& tanks. Sorry just had to get that out. Too many mates are building those when su 85s and t34s and even is2s are out on the field, then they complain they have no fuel for armor. The problem then is not the Pazerwerfer, but the player. Panzerwerfers are fine to me, they are great at killing infantry / support weapons. I'm curious why you didn't write the same thing regarding the Katyusha, since it is also in t4 and has a similar cost. In: COH2 Balance |
