Complaining about 4 rank players and people who do not even know how units look like anymore, while having no rank at all and no game for the last 30 days + is peak irony and hypocrisy for me.
Yeah. I'm still trying to figure out the phenomenon. Never expected or seen anything like this before.
And I agree with gollo's observations. Some of the game's unit vs unit duels results are quite far from what one would expect, knowing how the unit performed in real life. All players expect it to be different of course (it is a game after all) but often the game surprises simply too much. Players such as gollo will just install it and later uninstall quickly with a sense of frustration. This should be prevented. One way to do that would be adjust units' descriptions. It could help tremendously if a player just expected things after reading a unit description. Some frustration would be spared. I think this is the only way to go as significant balance/mechanics changes are probably impossible.
I think WC51 should be able carry two infantry units. It should also double the garrisoned infantry dps and give them body armour protection. Attacking with 1 squad is simply not enough and axis can put 2 squads into a halftrack. If axis can do that so should we. The passive healing should also apply because it's not fair axis have passive healing. And their vehicles have more armour so the crew is fine on WC51 as they have to repair faster.
If some people have a problem admitting this little truck is imbalanced, that tells a lot of where they come from. Another thing is unwillingness to change the vehicle. But not even seeing how OP it is just amazes me.
Again, sturms are supposed to be limited and overworked. That's the theme of the faction. Not to say slightly cheaper and weaker sturms that upgrade into refined units wouldn't be a miss, but they are not supposed to match the enemy's numbers.
Supposed, supposed, supposed... Just stop, will You? Allied tanks WERE supposed to be vastly inferior to axis armour and then crews made sense, and cheaper engies made sense. Now mediums are largely similar across board (and TDs just rule the armour engagements) and crews remained and this is not reflected ion the cost of the vehicle. You USF, for example, paid more manpower for vehicles because they have crews then Your argumentation would make sense. After all the buffs to allied stock and doctrine armour, and after adding the UKF, what you are writing just makes very little sense. Sturmpios were supposed to be busy repairing much better armour in times when KT would just end the game for OKW if built. The current game reality is different and such hackneyed truths no longer apply.
The complaint was that if you over extend your sturms and get punished for it by a wipe you are unable to repair your tanks, which simply isn't true.
You are completely wrong here. The problem is different. If OKW overextends their sturms the punishment is much higher than for the USF, Sov or UKF. It is enough to lose a model while repairing - you will reinforce for 30mp while othe factions will do it for around 20mp. Losing the squad may happen to all players but it will cost OKW much more. Lategem it creates huge disadvantage as wipes are common to off maps, artillery, etc.
Sturms are a critical ubut that covers a lot of ground this is true but if people don't over do their combat its a non issue.
It IS and issue. Nobody is asking about some huge Vols buffs. Just compare the performance of very similarly priced Infantry Sections. Sappers are extremely potent not to mention free crews, etc.
I only suggested that because Volks were left behind in the power creep race they could get a possibility to get a sweeper upgrade mutually exclusive with stg upgrade. The sweeper would reduce the firepower of the squad because you wouldn't be able to holster it. It would also make the squad a rather expensive repair squad (260mp + 45muni). I didn't suggest anything else. A small buff to a weaker faction, which is nowhere near all the buffs for many allied units.
What happened later just amazes me, especially looking at all rifles, conscripts, sections buff. Just can't believe how much allied fanboysim I witnessed and twisted logics accusing me of doing exactly what they were doing themselves. Guys - just think for a moment before you roll all the superior axis armour nonsense.
That's some mad crazy stuff going on in your head then, because you most certainly could not get that insanity out of context of my posts replaying specifically to your comment about repairing and repairing exclusively.
I advise getting back on pills.
I advise playing the game for You. You know what? Maybe even You could try OKW before You voice such strong opinions? You think it is possible? Much better than insulting other forum members.
Giving grenadiers/Pioneers 5 men would shit on Soviets hard. And the british IS being ''op'' is a brit issue, not a ostheer issue. If you want to make grens more viable(as if they are not...), starting looking at IS.
Bottom line is that anyone that continues to argue for nondoctrinal 5men grens clearly is not capable of using them as 4 men.
Mate just chill. UKF has all of these things and it is fine Why shouldn't ost have them? Oh, and I hope You will show me how to use 4 men grens. Pleas feel free to demonstrate. You could upload a replay.
