It's only really for custom games, and not online as it requires -dev mode.
I had to cheat the game into thinking this replay was a custom game replay.

i like the idea but it will bring more acturacy to (in game action) (time) so i prefer a "follow camera " on some units so the caster dont lose the "in game action"

It's not a mod but it requires a little bit of work to get right, and I'm still trying to work out certain things, therefore I'll write a guide on COH2.ORG to help people to do it, once I've got it nailed down.
I will also make a formal request to Relic for this functionality to be in game.

Honestly, it's a good idea but it's just boring to watch so zoomed out. I feel really disengaged to the game. If it was zoomed out to get an idea of troop movements, then zoom into the action once they engage, it'd be very nice. But it's too far to be exciting.

Was only at like 0.7x for most of the battle, to each his own I guess, I've had a lot of positive feedback so far, so a little constructive negative feedback is helpful too. I'll keep that in mind.
