COH2.ORG needs you

Time has passed since SEGA acquired Relic Entertainment and things are slowly getting back in order. We are expecting much more Company of Heroes 2 related activity in the near future, so we need a larger team to keep up with the news. If you have ever thought of contributing more to this community, this is your chance. Apply as a Writer or as an Artist. Show off your skills and let your creativity shine!



Do you often get into a fury of metaphorical madness as you describe an epic CoH action you just saw? Do you like telling someone's story or being the first to bring the hottest news to your friends? Or do all your friends hate you because you always feel the irresistible urge to correct their grammar? If you just thought you might belong to one of these categories, then this position is for you.

Your tasks:
On COH2.ORG a writer has to... write. It is as simple as that. We are always happy to have new content to put on the site. You will notice that we have various categories in the News section. That means that you have immense freedom when it comes to choosing what you want to write. You are never bound to do something you don't like, and you can use this place to write almost anything you want.

COH2.ORG is also the grammar addict's paradise. Everything that goes on the portal has to be reviewed by as many people as possible. This is is primarily done by Editors, but the task falls to fellow Writers as well. We like to back each other up. Here, no one gets mad at you when you correct their mistakes!

To apply, you have to have a good knowledge of the English language and some spare time during your weeks. A good writer is one who writes, and you can't write if you don't have time. Send your applications to our Editor in Chief, 12azor. Please include a sample of your writing, whether it is a small news report or an original story.



The Artist position is for people who can picture an epic scene in their head and make it a reality. You say you can compete with our Artists in creating cool highlights and portal imagery? Then don't you think you should be working with us?

Your tasks:
The bread and butter work of Artists is to provide images for portal content, in particular "highlight images." However, that's not the only canvas that needs paint. If a Strategist needs help with images for his new Soviet Guide, illustrating tactical movement etc., you will be there to assist him. If our Referees are organizing a new tournament format and need a banner, or brackets for illustration, you will be there to help them. Being a brand new website, we're also going to expand our features and styling. So if you have any skills in web design, we would be thankful for your input and insight.

Here is a list of things you would need to be an Artist on COH2.ORG:

• Above-average skills in graphic design, using professional 2D design software, like Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator or GIMP. This means we want you to be able to do more than just adding some text, strokes or blending options to existing graphics.
  
• You need creativity, to come up with new and unique highlight designs for our portal content.
  
• Experience in web design would be nice, but isn't mandatory.
  
• Time! Images are often the bottleneck for new portal content, so we need our artists to be responsive and able to provide pictures within a reasonable time!
  
• Powerful computer hardware would be a nice bonus, because it would allow you to take your own high quality in-game screenshots and videos for your content.
