Terror Tactics is the counter to OKW It's too expensive in 1v1's. Too much of a risk, and then you wont have a proper counter to the panther in time (SU-85) doesn't count..). Thread: Tiger Ace11 Jan 2015, 06:24 AM It's a very gimmicky unit to begin with and at no fuel cost it's kind of a no-brainer for the "what-the-garden-is-micro"-kind of player. Novice players that is struggling to hold the map suddenly can win in a single Ace rush ..because FUCK map control! It just makes no sense. The fact that the recourse income gets hampered doesn't seem to do much either. Now I'm talking 1v1 btw, I would not even bother trying to have a balance discussion on larger team games.. Thread: OKW sdkfz 251/17 Flak Halftrack11 Jan 2015, 05:47 AM Apart from the bug while a-moving, I think unit could use a slight reduction in either supression or damage. Right now it does both extremely well making it far more deadly than an ostwind. These problems combined with the fact that it can be on the field as early as the five minute mark makes it broken and abusive. Yes, it usually dies from two Zis rounds (unless the soviet or usf player gets pissed in the face by the RNG gods and the flak track gets a destroyed maingun crit), but it's just too damn potent in its current state. Same goes for vet 5 volks btw... seriously, OKW needs an overhaul. Spammy, abusive and their teching makes no sense. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: soviet t3 and t4 cost issues....11 Jan 2015, 05:35 AM Against OKW anything else but call-ins is a waste of resources. Since the vet 5 makes volkgrenadiers immortal and OKW has both good anti-inf and anti-tank infantry they can stall for KT, USF and Soviet suddenly have no late game. I think we can all agree on that OKW is cancer and that they need an overhaul. And yes, teching is too costly for what it does. That goes for Ostheer T4 as well btw. I'm getting really bored at the game at this moment because there are so many strategies that are simply not viable. In: COH2 Balance

After three games of truck bullying and that broken unit in a row I kind of lost my temper and figured I'll just do what Relic has decided to make the most cost efficient tactic for sovs. I had three oppurtunities to counter this OKW bullpudding and this is what it comes down to..
