Hi all,
Can the devs please put up a veterancy guide for the new factions as well as the old ones. IIRC, the panther now gets a 10% armor buff and 160 hp buff at vet2 instead of the old 40% armor buff. Also, I've noticed the pak40 doesn't get camo ability at vet 3. I'm not sure if there have been any other undocumented changes, so a page listing all the buffs a unit gets at higher levels of vet will be useful, particularly for the new factions.
If not, then has there been any news on when/if they plan to do this?

Also, a mortar works well on US infantry blobs |
Thanks all for your replies. The problem isn't 1v1, its a headache in team games |
Hi all,
I'd like to post about something I've noticed with the elbe day patch.
It's much more difficult to deal with a well supported (read-surrounded by zis guns, maxims, guards, with mines etc) as now german armor is less lethal (thanks to soviet armor buffs, a good change), less durable, the nerf to blitz (not complaining about it, its a good change) and the increase to ISU armor. This gets especially exacerbated on choky maps e.g. semosky. The panzerwerfer cannot kill the surrounding support units in a suitable time, and any mp attrition is offset by the mp attrition the ISU itself is doing to you. My question is, how do I deal with such a situation using only the core (non-doctrinal) units.
TLDR: How can I deal with a well supported ISU 152 using only the core units? Particularly on open maps with long sight lines? |
Ah sorry. My pc is a laptop. Intel i7 Q740 (1.73GHz), Nvidia GT 435M, 8GB ram. I've already got the graphic settings minimized, resolution set to 1280x720. Thing is, I did had laggy games before every now and then, but they were playable and nobody complained. |
Hello all,
Ever since the battle-servers were launched, I experience heavy lag on any maps with snow. Especially around the 10 minute mark, my units start to lag behind their orders. Takes them more than 20-30 seconds to move/attack/use abilities/reinforce after I tell them to. Same with retreating (the retreat button lights up but they don't retreat). I've also observed (and confirmed with teammates on teamspeak) that I'm playing 'in the past', i.e. the time on my match clock (the one detailing how much time has passed) is different from that of the rest of the team, and is behind them. Twice, the enemy team surrendered and I continued playing for a minute/half a minute after everyone had gone (until my match clock caught up).
I'm posting this in the bug forums because it only occurs on snow maps (i.e. maps with blizzards, lazur factory tends to be fine). |
Hello all ... my name is Gary and I am a noob ... but not forever (at least I hope).
We all start here, some stay here longer than others. It takes time to get the games in to get average at this game and more games to get okay at it.
Have you fire bombed your own base yet? I have ... did I mean to ... NOOOO.
When the noob is based pinned and sees the fire bomb option to use on the troops just outside his base, but they pull back ... and you forget to deselect it and decide to click on something in your base .... you may just drop bombs on yourself.
Why are my troops from my weapon support command auto marching to the enemy base and dying there .... because you once again accidently dropped the flag there!
Life as a noob is rough, but occasionally it goes your way. You get some wins.
My favourite thing as a noob is to be paired in a 2 vs 2 with someone who thinks they are not a noob and berate your through the game ... stupid noob, just leave. Ya, you may lose because of me, but rather than take the time to say how awful I am why not cap some points while the enemy is pounding my butt? Ask me to do something, because once the fight goes to decision and I review the stats .... if you have not done any better than me ... whose the noob?
So if you see me in your game, get ready for a bumpy ride. I promise to try my hardest, cap points, try not to run into the machine gun trap 5 times over or fixate on the same spot over and over. I will use the hot keys and mini map. I am watching the twitch feeds and seeing how it's done. My macro will get better, and hopefully I'll remember my critics and avenge myself in the future.
Cheers to the Noob ... the life blood of keeping a game going strong!
Gary
This. This is the spirit! I commend you, sir! |
