I don't think OKW is OP, but in a right spot after playing the patch the last weekend for at least 17 hours. What UKF needs is the +1 man upgrade back to 25 fuel, since it's too expensive now. Also go a bren carrier against a Kubel and it's gone. Yes the kubel gives the OKW some insane capping power, but that can be deminished really fast. Bren Carrier's fuel should go to 20 fuel, 30 is too much. |
Can only say 1 thing and that is YES. They should get a AT snare, because mostly of the time you can just push through their ranks without thinking about it, because of the no snare ability. It's plain stupid. Just give them their AT nades. Stupid to have the AT nade behind a doctrine... |

Anyway, these changes are all bringing coh2 in a balanced direction. Relic is willing to change/sacrifice initial faction ideas for balance which, for gameplay, is a good thing. This is an opinion and yours may differ.
Anyway, for the people above arguing about vet 5 OKW being bad because it takes so long to get or whatever. F1sh, for example, makes the argument that keeping vet units alive to vet 4-5 should give you bonuses. Sure. But when you look at it from the perspective of, say, a USF player whose rifles are stuck at vet 3.
I've had games where, at most, only 1 infantry squad is wiped the whole game from each side until the late game. Both players had equal unit survivability, but late game I get boned because my OKW opponent has extra bonuses for his soldiers while I do not. It is, frankly, stupid, for one player to be rewarded more than the other in this manner.
The balance is indeed finaly getting some shape. I did some games against Aerohank in a 1v1 and OKW isn't OP. With normal fuel income and stuff your tanks come out the same time to 1-2 minutes later than the allied tanks. Although OKW tanks get way better in the long run because of their vet it doesn't mean that they're unbeatable. I think it's more about to make the OKW player missplay to take a tank/unit out of position. |
Bren carrier with the flamer upgrade.. protect it with at gun > win game. gets some mines with ammo after that. Get commandos + croc + OP strafes. Melt every thing. +2 Firefly's that completely makes all Axis armor useless. Ez game! Vanguard is all you need.

People are greatly overestimating effects of range differnce.
Yes, pwerfer needs to be closer, but it also stays there only 25% of time katy needs for its barrage and pwerfer is more mobile.
Moreover, recent pwerfer buffs means you can stay at any range, target of the barrage will be annihilates with alpha strike, something that is pure RNG with a tiny chance for katy.

It's not that hard, but mostly of the time it's annoying that you can't see the unit because of sight blockers. Indeed Firefly and Jacksons are the right units to kill it, but you've to keep them covered. |
Currently I really don't see any downsides to the higher tech in 1v1's if you go for a kubelwagen to cap. The cappingpower is so big because of the speed the kubel can move with |

Then again OKW panther still will come way faster than ostheer one, and also u get all the cool featuers of OKW trucks - but i think late ostheer panther is a problem of ostheer T4 teching..
Maybe put upgrade on schwerer that will unlock panther/kt and gun on flak?

Disagree. Its max range scatter is really high. In order to wipe you have to drive it in close.
I think its in an ok spot now, please don't mess with it. Was crap for close to an year
