If you make it not able kill hqs it's basically nerfed to the ground, who would even save 325 muni for a delayed airstrike that doesn't do enough damage to kill a hq? Wow it kills everything in a radius, but if we take into account that your opponent has half of a brain, he would move everything he could outside before it even hit.
The more problematic ability is the vanguard air support, since it does a shitton of damage on the first strafe and then just dies to any AA, but it doesn't kill okw trucks so I guess that ability is perfectly balanced
I personally have less problem with the Vanguard strike than the ASO strike yes. People say ooh AA can kill it, I've never seen my AA kill it even with 2x Ostwind Kappa |
I seriously do question your common sence kubelacer. I never said that the ability has to be nerfed to the ground, but to get your tech structure wiped (and mostly it's the flak emplacement because of it's area denial arc) leavee in thus a weak position that the ability let me not have any counterplay to tanks and stuff. |

I'm sorry, do the OKW trucks suddenly stop repairing and healing if they're in the base sector? No.
You can't just brainlessly put your Flak truck on a fuel point and expect it to defend it for free every match, nor can you put the med-truck right at the frontline and beat the enemy by attrition with your healed up volks.
Sometimes you have to adapt and play differently, and if this means putting your trucks in the base if you see a british player with this commander, so be it.
Soviets and Ostheer can deal with no forward retreat. There is nothing wrong from having to walk from your base.
and vs brits, forward bases aren't "all the advantages OKW has". leIG is really good at shutting down emplacements and pinning squads from long range, not to mention the early game advantage OKW has in the brit matchup.
IL-2 bombstrike shits on OKW trucks too, Air Supremacy just shits over a larger area.
You completely make me laugh... On bigger maps it's the big advantage of being OKW. On smaller maps itś no problem to have them in your base, but on big maps itś the forward retreat point to go for so theyŕe quicker on the field. You can tell me that brits have less forward retreat points than OKW. We're not talking about the LeIG, since I've said multiple times that the scatter should just be a bit higher, same as the pack howie. But to put your bases inside your base area only because of 1 possible doctrine is just a shitty awnser to fix the problem... |

Over 300 ammo should kill any builing.

When you just destroy them it tanks, AT guns and stuff is fairer, you can try to do something against it and itś counterable.

On the 2nd thing the Ammo expences is in the early game (except the Wasp) really low, so you'll float so much ammo. (Have had it enough)
With the Churchills + Bombing strike shit, centaur shit Relic just make them look stupid, since they went on the good track with the balance. But it's always overbuff and overnerf (see Ostsniper and Brits sniper) and see the Churchills with their massive healthpools... |
It doesn justify that 1 run can completely wreck your HQ, same shit for the brits fortifications with the flames. First of all a base can run, so it's out, 2nd of all you so if you need the units to counter, that's not possible. Therefor they'll snowball over you... Great, nice gameplay feature... |
Guys this ability is just too strong against buildings. At the late game it's too easy accessable for the brits, since they don't really have shit to spend their ammo on. WTF can be done to this complete shit...
Relic have done it... They made the Brits so OP in team games it's not even fun to play it anymore. From 2v2+ it's just snowballing... The OKW 300 ammo strike of the fortification doctrine is only 5% of the massive power the Brits have... |
i understand the problem you had during that game
now according to the forums the churchill has(tech one)
1600HP
270-280 Armor
its as slow or slower then a king tiger
has a gun like the kv-1s or/and a little better
its an anvill unit(so you dont get it if you choose hammer)
it costs 540Mp and 150Fuel
now i also have to say that the comet and the is-2/isu-152 have better armor then the churchill atm before i go on
now the churchill if it bounces 3 raketenwefer at shots is just RNG (it may even happen on comets and is-2s) so you cant base much balance to it
as for the pak43s hitting the churchill and Penetrating BUT not killing it but leaving it heavily damaged is not broken either,infact it would be a better choice to bring a jagdpanzer 4/panther to finish of the churchills instead of at guns
the same thing happens with the USF against panthers and tigers,they have too much armor,HP and they escape with "smoke" its the same thing with churchills
also i dont see them as god tanks in any way(still havent seen a churchill beat tigers/panthers/jagdpanzer 4s)
the only thing i would suggest is a price increase(more fuel to like 200) but then again i dont see how its possible to spam them without having support
still if an HP redution is needed then we should decrease the price of it or otherwise the comet will be the only viable option late game
i should also point out that during the alpha the churchill was the most overpriced shitty unit you could field(losing to 1 pak,panzer 4 or even stugs for the matter)cause it didnt took damage like it was supposed to and it was VERY SLOW and most people went for a comet so bear that in mind
Got the replay of it. It didn't really needed support because of the Vicker bug... No troops could go in and lost my Panther. At some point (last 5 minutes) he had a 17 pounder so couldn't go near it. Perhaps JPz4 would be a good choise. |
