I wouldn't put him in the spot fully retarded. In my opinion he became a way better player + forum poster. Most of his posts this 2 months are mostly biased on the ingame stats. Is he an axis fanboy perhaps, but then you can also place me under the point of axis fanboy, but my perspective is that is should be balanced so the winrates (atleast for top players) should be 50% axis and 50% allies if you don't calculate skills into this matter.
On your point of perma-banning him, then the same should be said of Katitof, Porygon (which in fact made his first post that the LeIG is OP, I'm flabbergasted about this) and Queenratched and way more people. But hey that's my opinion. |

Well when I played the brits in team games,I always use the commando commander for this OP bombs...You guys are focusing on destroying the trucks only? It can just remove anything in the large area. I have managed to kill a KT with damaged engine. All the slow moving Axis heavies will be killed if players failed to move them out...
I personally don't have a problem that it does heavy dmg to a KT. The IL bomb strike also do great dmg to a KT |

After hearing rumors, I tested. I will be uploading video tomorrow, but it appears that if you continuosly use blitzkrieg on a panther (maybe others) it has some kind of non linear stacking effect that increases overall top speed.
I had a panther going as fast as a T70 when I tested it for myself.
Just a heads up, not gamebreaking by any means, because over a normal game it wouldn't matter much, but just another thing to point out.

I'm not taking a stance one way or another on this issue, but before you say there isn't any counter play, would you at least try to make some aggressively placed 2cm Flakvierlings and Ostwinds or FlaK-Halftracks? I am maybe feeling that if there is enough of them, the combined firepower might be enough to knock most of the planes out of the sky before the payload is dropped. Between 2+ OKW players it's not so expensive or impossible.
Just give it a try. If it doesn't work at all, then your assertion that there is no counterplay is correct, if it does work, then there's something to be said there.

OKW: Scavange arty with lots of muni, zeroing arty.
Wehr: Sector arty, close annihilate the pocket.
All of these will obliterate stuff in range in a matter of seconds.
As I agree that Scavage can be very strong the close the pocket of the Wehrmacht comes in a very specific doctrine + very exclusive needs for the work You have to detach the sector to make it work. |
