I do think the range is abit big but I like its current state, now OKW players are forced to choose between shreks or grenades and if your opponent is using grenades alot you should rush an anti-infantry vehicle cause he'll have trouble taking it out (unless you drive into a raketen werfer )

T34/85's are probably in top 3 best tanks so wouldn't say it's bad |
The mortar HT as a unit is essentially fine. It's more an issue of how effective indirect fire and flame weapons are vs Brit emplacements as a whole. Right now one mortar HT means no Brit emplacements thanks to it's incendiary ability.
I think exactly the same. As I go ostheer and I see 1 emplacement it´s almost insta spearhead doctrine for me and to pop out a MHT in notime. Seals the deal in utter seconds. |
About the realism, if you have a hole in the ground, covered by sandbags, with 2 steel mortars and few people, what's gonna burn like crazy? Sand? Steel? Ground?

My thought on this nade: since relic made it similar to the molotov stats wise it costs need to be decreased. You still have to tech for a molotov so in order to underline this fact the cost of the flame grenade needs to be reduced to 20 while the Soviet molotov remains at 15.

regarding accuracy, it's like the pzwerfer, risk reward, if you can actually consider it that, and control over rng. i wish more units were designed like this. it's not too too difficult, to issue a shift+click chain of move order, incendiary round, reverse.
It's probably 1 of the easiest unit to use and one of the hard hitting units for early game. But sets you back in fuel so in tanks. |
Don't wanna go OT, but sometimes it doesn't even hit the target, and the shell hit the ground outside of the UI indicator.

If anything, mortar HT needs a buff for Incendiary barrage accuracy cuz the shit is too damn inaccurate.
If emplacements and brace mechanism suck, you don't nerf other units, you fix the emplacements. Just sayin'
