So i dont believe that the SU-100 would easily kill all german heavys. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D-10_tank_gun Yes it would kill all german heavies, because it could do that in real life, and in coh logic, all tank destroyers are completely innefective againts infantry but super good againts tanks. Even then, the D-10T was just slightly less effective in penetration than the KWK 43/L71 The elephant has 400 penetration, KT has something like 240. Even tho they use the same gun IRL, their gun stats in coh 2 are completely differently due to the elephant being a TD and KT just being an all round heavy tank by purpose. So an SU-100 would also probaly have huge penetration because of it's TD role, and considering it's penetration and range was superior to that of the ISU-152, in game the penetration would probaly be something like 350 or so and it would have maybe 70 range, same as ISU or elephant. Because the t-34 is underperforming when in comparison to the sherman. The sherman is already better againts infantry than the t-34/76 with AP rounds, then you get 0.50 cal and HE rounds, which just put the sherman in a completely different league than the t-34. The sherman also comes with a tank destroyer in the same tier, making it more flexible. Not to mention that the sherman also performs better againts tanks due to the faster fire rate of the gun, which can make it or break it in a 1v1 tank engagement. Of course the panzer IV pretty much outclasses both of these tanks in AT, and being much better anti infantry than the t-34/76, and being roughly on par with the sherman. Also while having insane vet abilities. VET 1 blitz and armored skirts If anything, the t-34/76 should be better than the sherman due to the sherman coming with a tank destoyer in the same tier. and this isin't even accounting for the complete dominance of axis infantry and axis anti tank weaponry. I don't think that is good. The Speedrunner community seems to accept it, and it became a case of who can abuse the most. And that is fine. There is value in trying to break something as hard as you can. But I don't think we need something like this in CoH2. As for your examples with other games... I don't think it is good. Boosting was a abuse (btw, we should define the word "abuse" at some point), untill the maps were designed around it, then it was a gameplaymechanic. I wouldn't call reversing directly an abuse, but it was a big design flaw. NOW that it is properly implemented it is a good thing. Reversing in CoH1 was a community fix of a problem (pathing). The mechanic is available to all players. Yeah. To all players who know about it. Just look at Dota2 (even though I play it). There are tooons of wierd interactions. On one hand they do make the game more indepth, but on the other hand look how beginner friendly that game is because of it. In the end, the negatives outweight the positives for me, ESPECIALLY when everything could just be implemented properly as an intended mechanic. The thing with coh 2 is that is increases the skill cap of the game, because it's another place for good players to overcome weaker players. COH 2 already has rather low skillcap, so something increasing it is a very good thing. In: COH2 Gameplay

Peter Qumsieh stated in a stream recently that he feels conscripts are currently in a good place so any changes on that account are unlikely, at least I think. Probably best to just wait for mods for a different take on the faction. If I get around to it, and if they get around to making mod tools, I want to make a "CoH2: 1944" edition that just adjusts the game to center more around one particular year. So cons get replaced by some sort of soviet riflemen unit, T34-85 is non-doc, replace maxim with a normal HMG, make soviet tiers work like OH tiers, etc. Change up the commanders so that there are only 3-6 for each faction. Well, it's a dream at least. Don't worry, Peter Quimsieh said that pioneers are working as intended when they were able to beat gaurds and conscripts with ease, said shocks in an M3 to counter pioneers, don't count on what he says to be final, at all. Conscripts and penals troops have been since forever in a dire need for some way to make them scale better. I don't know what exactly, but their state at the moment is just pathetic. No infantry in the history of coh 2 has been as scaleless as conscripts or penals. Even coh 1 volks were better. In: COH2 Balance
